The ryokan has old world charm, amazing autumn foliage, friendly and helpful staff, great dinners, and a charming wooden onsen experience.

The hotel was an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city and the perfect spot for a peaceful escape. The highlight of my stay was indulging in the delicious cuisine that the hotel had to offer. The meals were a true delight, from the beautifully presented dishes to their unique flavors that were a testament to authentic Japanese cuisine. the hotel's onsen facilities enabled me to unwind and rejuvenate after a long day of exploring the city.

Although the hotel was an ideal place to stay in terms of relaxation, it was located a bit far from the city center. However, public transport easily connected the hotel to the city's main attractions, making it more convenient.

My Christmas stay was amazing! the complimentary welcome drink was refreshing and delicious. I also loved how close the hotel was to the beautiful winter scenery and popular tourist spots. It was so convenient to be able to walk to nearby attractions. the onsen was great too, with its modern and comfortable facilities. And let's not forget the meals, they were so good! Every dish was carefully explained and deliciously prepared. the traditional setting made the experience even more special.

If I had to choose one negative, it would be that the hotel felt a bit too modern for my taste.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel facilities were great - the onsen was clean and had a perfect temperature. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area, as there was free parking and a shuttle bus available. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of dishes to choose from.

The hotel had a unique, historic style and staff were helpful with luggage. Dinner was delicious with delicate Japanese cuisine, and the onsen facilities were clean and relaxing. Free parking was available and guests could take a shuttle bus to and from the nearest transportation station.

The hotel was quite remote and some onsen facilities lacked showers.
